Seminar: “Rating agencies, an update“, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Milan.
After a detailed presentation by Mr. Gaetano Presti, Professor of Commercial Law at the above university, the seminar considered the legal and regulatory issues concerning the rating of financial instruments.

Symposium: “The evolution of distribution channels for Italian banks“, NH Hotel Touring, Milan.
With the participation of Mr. Matteo Mattei Gentili, Professor of Economics of Financial Institutions at the University of Pavia.
The meeting was devoted to the changes in the banking market, also vis-à-vis representatives of the regulator and economic journalists.

Congress: “The digitalisation of banking contracts”, Rome, Palazzo Altieri, Convention centre of the Italian Banking Association (ABI).
The event unfolded in two stages:
- Morning session, chaired by Mr. Paolo Scotti (Banca Intesa Sanpaolo – AEDBF Italy, Board Member);
- Afternoon session, chaired by Mr. Roberto Ferretti (Studio Legale Bonora & Associati, Milan – AEDBF Italy, Board Member).
During the meeting it was possible to consider the matter in all its aspects: legal, economic, technical, business opportunities, security and confidentiality.
Speakers:
- Avv. Prof. Giusella Finocchiaro, University of Bologna, one of Italy’s most renowned experts in law applied to modern technologies;
- Prof. Maurizio Cavallari, Catholic University of Milan
- Dr. Cosimo Comella, officer of the Italian Data Protection Authority;
- Dr. Stefano Arbia, officer of the Italian Agency for Digitalization;
- Dr. Liliana Fratini Passi, CEO of CBI (Customer to Business Interaction), an ABI sponsored entity for the development of information technology in the financial sector;
- Dr. Giovanni Staiano, Head of Legal Affairs, ABI;
- Dr. Fausto Brugnatelli, one of Italy’s leading graphologists.
The meeting, followed by a debate, was attended by many representatives of the Italian banking and financial system.
