After the American market, SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies) are now attracting interest in the European markets. Although the mechanism on which they are based is not new, it nevertheless raises questions about both the structuring of the transaction and its regulation. The recent work that ESMA and the AMF have published on the subject provides interesting food for thought.
