Congress: “Non-performing loans in the Italian banking system” – 14 – 15 October 2016

The congress – organized in cooperation with “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” of Milan and CeTIF (Research Center on Technology, Innovations and Finance, set-up by the same university) – has offered the opportunity of an in-depth analysis of the matter from all relevant standpoints: regulatory framework, risk-management, economic impact.
Non-performing loans represent one of the most burning issues currently under discussion in Italy. During the two days event the subject, introduced by Prof. Antonella Sciarrone Alibrandi (Università Cattolica of Milan, Member of AEDBF Italy Board), has been widely treated through a multi-disciplinary approach and a specific focus on constraints deriving from State aids ban.
Among the participants there were university professors, bank officers, investment managers and officials of the market regulators.
